This vintage cookie jar is white clay with a high gloss tan finish. The front of the jar has the words "cookie Jug" in script. The jug shaped lid has a cork top.

Dimensions: The cookie jar measures 7" in diameter x 7" high at the rim or 10 1/2" high with the lid.

Marks/Dates: c. 1960's. Discontinued. Impressed on the bottom with a maple leaf and "Monmouth ILL USA." Western Stoneware purchased Monmouth Pottery in the early 1900's, and continued to use the Monmouth maple leaf mark.

Condition: Ready to use or display. No cracks, chips or other damage.
