This wonderful teapot was made by Noritake in their Violette pattern. Delicate blue and purple violets are sprinkled among wildflowers with green and aqua leaves on a white ground trimmed in gold. This pattern was made between 1948 and 1958. The teapot measures approx. 9 1/2" from handle to spout x 5 3/4" wide x 5 1/4" tall. The condition is excellent with no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. There is a small pale gray mark on lower side which was probably made during the manufacturing process. It's so light I couldn't get a good photo of it.
