This lovely Bavarian tea set features various scenes from what appears to be an idyllic fishing village. The different images are set against white porcelain with gold trim. The set includes:
***One Teapot & lid. Teapot measures 7" tall x 7" from spout to handle.
***One oval shaped sugar bowl & lid that measures 4" x 3" high.
***Matching creamer measures 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" high.
***Two demitasse cup & saucer sets. Each cup stands 1 7/8" high.
Marks/Dates: Winterling Bavaria "laurel" mark on the bottom of each piece (1940+). The clothing on the people in the scenes would suggest 1950's/1960's.
Condition: No visible cracks or chips. The inside of the teapot's lid is missing the little hook (see photo), and there is a flea bite on the gold rim inside one of the cups. The same cup has a porcelain flaw on the inside.
All of our dinnerware are estate pieces. While free of cracks, chips and excessive wear (unless specified above), pieces may show signs of gentle use, including light utensil marks and color variations.
