This collectible teapot (or tea pot) features alternating turquoise lustre bands and white bands with gold scrolls, a gold spout, and turquoise lustre lid with gold finial.

Dimensions: Teapot with lid measures 7 3/8" tall, and 8 3/4" from handle to spout.

Marks: c. 1950's. Stamped on the bottom in gold, with handwritten pattern number "LA1874A," and impressed on the rim, "ATHENS," and "GIBSON ENGLAND." Teapot also has original Gibsons label on the side.

Condition: No chips or cracks. There is crazing under the glaze. With the original paper label in place, this teapot may have been displayed and never used.
