EAPG Indiana Glass AUSTRIAN Creamer & Sugar Bowl w/Lids

Austrian was first produced by Indiana Tumbler and Goblet Company, then by Indiana Glass, and still later by Federal Glass. It is also called "Western," "Paneled Oval Fine Cut," and pattern #200 by Indiana Glass. These are the covered sugar bowl and matching creamer with their distinctive lids.

It should also be noted that though our 3 EAPG references name this pattern "Austrian," the Florences' Glassware Pattern Identification Guide, Vol III, (page 36), calls it "Cane Medallion" by Westmoreland Specialty Glass, made in 1896.

Dimensions: The sugar bowl measures 4 1/4" long x 3 5/8" wide x 5 7/8" high (with lid). The matching creamer is 4 1/2" long (excluding handle) x3 1/2" wide x 5 7/8" high (with lid).

Marks/Dates: c. 1904-1907.

Condition: The creamer has no visible damage, but does have a couple of flea bits on the inside rim of the bowl, and a nick on the inside rim of the lid.
