Dorothy Thorpe was a renowned California artist from the 1930's through the 1950's. Her work in glass and pottery is avidly collected. Here she has created a vivid design of varied shades of pink flowers, outlined in gold leaf, with white enamel highlights on a matte-finish pink background...then trimmed it in gold.

Dimensions: Cup stands 2" high.

Dates/Marks: c. 1950. "DTC" - Dorothy Thorpe's backstamp.

Condition: Vintage/clean and gently used. No cracks or chips. A bit of the gold on the rim has rubbed from repeated washing.
