This pattern features a cream band on white china, decorated with colorful rose swags and feather flourishes. The border has a green ovals design outlined in gold (colored paint, not gilt). The shape is called Rose China (1947-1953). Pieces with lids in this pattern have a rosebud finial.

Dimensions: The double handled sugar bowl measures 7 1/2" wide x 4 3/4" high.

Marks/Dates: c. 1947-1951. Noritake "Nippon Toki Kaisha" backstamp. Used for export during the years shortly after WWII, and includes the Komaru "K" mark in the center.

Condition: No cracks, chips or other damage.
