Early RS Prussia Creamer and Sugar Fern Gold

Early RS Prussia Creamer and Sugar Fern Gold
This is a stunning, unmarked RS Prussia Creamer and Sugar Bowl.

It is an absolutely outstanding set in excellent condition.

It is identified as RSP Mold OM 51 which was made and sold in 1898 as evidenced in the Webb-Freyschlag Oct 1898 Catalog. References for this are the Marple's books T.S. Prussia: The Formative Years (pg 100)and R S Prussia the Early Years, (pp 89 & 90).

The base color is a soft white that has been enhanced with swirls of yellow and green. The decoration consists of tiny white enamel dot daisies and leafy, gold sprays of fern. The handles rims and finial are all accented with thin lines of gold.

The handles are elegantly shaped with thorn accents.

The base of both pieces is embossed with feather swirls and tiny daisy like flowers.

The creamer measures 3 3/4" tall and the sugar bowl is just a shade over 4" tall to the top of the finial on the lid.

The condition is excellent - there is no damage. There are no chips, cracks or nicks. There is minimal wear to the base.

They are not marked.
