This pretty little demitasse cup and saucer set has a blue glaze over a banded design and is trimmed in gold. The cup measures approx. 2 1/4" tall x 2" across top and the saucer measures approx. 4 1/4" across. There is a spot on the saucer near the rim where it looks like a chip in the greenware was glazed over. This was made during the manufacturing process. The blue glaze is darker in places and lighter in other places. This is still is very pretty piece for display or use. No nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. Marked Made in Japan.
