This wonderful vintage pottery teapot is in the shape of an apple. The coloring and shading are done very nicely. I couldn't pin this piece down to a maker but there is a maker's mark on the teapot which was placed in an indention made on the side. I have seen other teapots with this mark but they had no attributions as to the maker. This piece measures approx. 5 1/2" to top of lid x 8 1/2" from handle to spout x 5" wide. It has overall fine crazing. There is also an approx. 1/4" very tight crack on inside rim where lid sets. No nicks or chips. This piece displays very well.
